Our Place, Our Team Presentation
This is a presentation that I have made in a group. My group consisted of 4 people which are Selena, Sylvia, Thora and Me. Our presentation was about Our Place and Our Team. We had to inform people that are coming to NZ for the Rugby World Cup (RWC) and people that are coming to New Zealand, what it is like and some cool places that you should see. I hope you enjoy reading my presentation.

Amazing things with Photoshop!
Today Mrs Tele'a sent us a link which included videos of how to do these very cool things with Photoshop. Toreka, Selena and me had a lot of fun checking them out. "Why don't you give them a shot?" Mrs Tele'a exclaimed. "Mrs Burt also wants us to learn more in Photoshop because they have more functions and Hyperstudio is so easy to use".
As we started to give it a try, we all chose a little project of what we would want to do. So we looked at the tutorials which were in the link and I had chosen one where we could do a silhouette.
If you see the images above, those are the silhouettes that I have made. They look amazing and if you see in my next post, I have said a thank you to the teachers who helped me get interested with Photoshop. So I hope you liked my images I have made.

How to Pitch a Tent
How to Construct a tent.
Equipment:
A tent package including:
Pegs
Hammer
Base
Interior
Poles
Fly
Method:
1. Open the package and unfold the tent and make sure you have the following equipment which are listed above. The following equipment are essential: Hammer or Mallet. As soon as that has happened put the fly aside and start working with your base (Make sure your door is facing the right way).
2. As soon as you have separated the fly and the tent, get the pegs and nail it down with a hammer .The corner of the tent have little (eyelets) and make sure you have nailed it at around about a 45 degree angle. This is so then they don't come out easily and while camping your tent does not break down.
3. Get the poles out. Be careful because there are 3 poles and 2 have the same length and that is long, But the other one is the shortest one. You don’t need to use the short one, you use it later for the fly.
4. Now lay the two longer poles out in a X shape. Where the corners are of the inner tent, you can see that there are hooks , so you hook them on to the poles that are on the top of them. Now you need to tie it to the middle of the poles. Now place the fly over the top of the tent and make sure that the door is facing the front.
5. Now that you have finished that, throw the fly over the tent and and when you start working with the fly make sure the door is closed. So then it goes perfectly. Thread the short pole through the sleeve of the fly. This will make the top of the tent stable. Make sure the pole is secured to the ground.
6. Nail the Guy ropes down but here is a useful hint: nail the Guy ropes on the edges first so the tent has good balance.
7.When you are finished with the Guy ropes, there will be some hooks, you will need to hook it on to the poles.
8. Now you are finished, make sure that all the Guy ropes and the pegs are secure and tight.

Ala, Selena, Toreka and Me!!
A few days ago Ala, Selena, Toreka and me had a day out at Ala's house. We had so much fun. Unfortunately Angela, Seini-Mino, and Sylvia couldn't make it. We were quite upset of that, because we were planning to have a friends get together!! Even though a few girls couldn't make it doesn't mean we didn't have a cool time, I am going to tell you about a few things we did.
When Ala had called me up, she said that we were going to have a sleepover. I said yes to that. Then she said that Angela, Seini-Mino and Sylvia couldn't make it because they were busy. "Ohhhhh" I said. As soon as I put the phone down, I packed everything and then put it onto the side for the next day.
The day had come and Ala's mum came to pick me up. As soon as Toreka and me got to the house, Selena and Ala started yelling like crazy."YAY" the screaming girls screamed! It was insane.
When we got together we started talking and playing. We got a little bit bored so we went Sylvia Park, from there I got a really cute key necklace, Ala got a t'shirt and Toreka got a headband. By then it was about 7:00, so we decided to go back home.
Then it was a really fun part because we played blindfolds. It was amazing because we played in the dark and it was hilarious because we had to make silly sounds to tease the person that was blindfolded, plus we got to chuck clothes at them. Hahaha.
For dinner, we all got pizzas, then we watched a movie. The name of the movie that, we watched is Vampire Sucks. During the movie, Selena told me that we should be awake the whole night. A few minutes later I saw Selena and Ala asleep. Me and Maraina (Ala's little sister) were awake till 12 am and we watched 2 movies.
Us, friends had such a good time there. Ala was even thinking of doing this once again. I think I have told you enough. I hope I can get on my blog these holidays and write some more. Anyways, Merry Christmas and have a happy holiday. Bye

Movie Character Day
"Pinch and a Punch for the rest of the month!" I shouted while doing the actions. Today is the 1st of April and tomorrow is EASTER. Yes I said. Guess What? At our school their is a movie character day. It is awesome. I love it. Here is a photo of what my friends and I are wearing at the Movie Mufti Day.

My Best Friend Selena
Hi my name is Mubasshira and I am going to tell you about my best friend Selena. Selena and I have been friends for 5 years this is way to long. She is so caring and loving. Whenever I am sad or if I have got hurt she will always say "Are you alright". To me she is like a sister. I am older than her she is 9 years old and I am 10 years old. Her birthday is on 6th July and my birthday is 1st May. We have been best friends since year 1. We always have little fights for pencils but we always solve it in a happy way. When ever she dosen`t have a pencil or something I will always let her use it and after when I don`t have it I will always find a resolution to it.
So do you have a friend that is so caring and loving like Selena?
