Disappointed Valerie Adams
Did you hear about Valerie Adams’ valiant attempt at shotput? It was a very emotional evening for this amazing athlete because she only came 2nd, being beaten by Nadzeya Ostapchuk with the high score of 21.36m. Valerie had worked tirelessly for the gold medal but unfortunately couldn’t get it that distance. Visibly upset, Adams was disappointed, though New Zealand, proud of her achievement, still has hope for her in the 2016 Olympics.
