Hi My name is Mubasshira
I am 10 years old
I am a year 5 at Point England School
My teacher is Ms Squires
I live in Glen Innes,
New Zealand with my family
In my family there is my dad my mum my 3 sisters and my brother.

Ko Tamaki te awa ( My River is Tamaki )
Kei Glen Innes toku kainga noho ( I live in Glen Innes)
No India ahau ( I come from India)
Ko Point England toku kura ( I go to Point England school)
Ko Abdulhak raua ko Salaam oku koro ( My Grandfathers are Abdulhak and Salaam)
Ko Zubeda raua ko Raseda oku kuia ( My Grandmothers are Zubeda and Raseda)
Ko Anwar toku Matua ( My father is Anwar)
Ko Sajeda toku Whaea ( My mother is Sajeda)
Tekau oku tau ( I am 10 years old)
Ko Mubasshira taku Ingoa ( My name is Mubasshira)
No reira Tena Koutou, Tena Koutou, Tena Koutou Katoa

    That was a really great Maori Mihimihi Mubasshia I loved the way you talked about your cullture and your family.Great Job!!! I also liked your english mihimihi you added lot of things about you and your family but I think you used to much of Pt England so I wonder if next time you could use less of Pt England

    I thought your mihimihi was awesome regardless whether you used Pt.England ONLY ONCE too many times in your english mihi. You did exceptionally well for your age. Your family and school must be proud.
